Oneness Introduction
If there is one word that describes the predominant characteristic at the center of all
problems and pathologies it is disunity—of self; of relationships; of social organization
and community; and of the body politic to mention a few, as reflected in the rise of
mental illness, relationships that have gone sour; the plethora of crimes and political
corruption plaguing our communities, nation and the world. And yet there is no
epistemological foundation evident in the trajectory of humankind’s pursuit of truth as
our understanding of reality expands that suggests anything other than as we gain a
clearer apprehension of oneness, in like manner and to the same degree resolution of
those maladies becomes apparent.
In his book THE ONENESS, Daren Demeule has captured the “Rosetta Stone”, the
heuristic capabilities of which can alter the destructive direction disunity has led us in,
and set our sights and actions on a path that both informs and at the same time heals as
we trod the trajectory of development in the individual, in relationships between and
